02 Introduction 引言 The University of Hong Kong was founded with the mission to serve as China’s English-speaking international university. As we advance into our second century, this international mission remains relevant; however, the context has evolved significantly and continues to do so. In this ever-changing landscape, we must adopt an even more international outlook across all our activities, demonstrating greater agility and adaptability. Our mindset should be characterised by ambition and a proactive, goal-oriented approach.
